Proficiency testing

This program is designed to help participating laboratories demonstrate their competency in Oil and construction materials testing, ensure the performance of individual laboratories for specific tests, and monitor the continuing performance of laboratories. It provides laboratories with an objective means of assessing the reliability and confidence in the data they are producing. It also complies with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited.

Upcoming Programs

These programs involve the distribution of sub-samples of a material for testing by participating laboratories. The results are analyzed statistically with each laboratory receiving a report detailing its testing performance. AHPTS offers a wide range of testing programs covering most areas of testing including: Crude oil, Diesel, Gas oil, Mogas, Jet fuel, Concrete cubes, Carbon steel bars, Asphalt, etc.

Completed programs

As the completed program reports are publicly available, all interested parties are free to access these reports from the AHPTS website. The information contained within the reports must not be reproduced unless permission is granted by AHPTS. The authorized contact from each participating laboratory is contacted to advise that the reports are available to download. Program reports are used to provide guidance to participants on their testing performance in conjunction with their peers and to provide expert commentary on the testing outcomes.
